Western Goth Style & A Collaborative Music Playlist
Belgian designers always get it, a Yellowstone crossover and outfits

If someone asks me to describe my style, it’s western goth. This week I’m sharing a curation of preloved pieces via Vestiaire Collective, some personal outfits, my favorite brands and a collaborative music playlist.

I hope you all are having a lovely week and thank you for subscribing! Substack is reminding me so much of the old YouTube days :’)
If you have a second, I’d love to hear more of what you’d like to see as a free subscriber on this platform. Please answer this poll below:

Some of my personal favorite brands for a western goth (but still fashion) aesthetic -
Veronique Branquinho - the chicest Belgian designer from the late 90s/early 2000s
AF Vandevorst - another Belgian duo and the sweetest couple ever (also late 90s/early 2000s)
Rick Owens Lilies or old Helmut Lang for basics
Tecovas - cowboy boots
Stetson - cowboy hats

Featuring two of my best preloved purchases ever - this HEAVY Saks floor-length hooded leather and fur coat and my YSL Mombasa. Both were ordered on TRR after my boyfriend and I obsessively binged Yellowstone one winter.
A bit full circle if you’re also a Yellowstone fan (whether in a corny way or genuine) or maybe totally irrelevant if you’re not - I was invited to a Stetson x Free Rein event in the city last week, where I got to customize a cowboy hat and try Rip Wheeler’s coffee brand. Unfortunately, Rip (Cole Hauser) wasn’t in attendance.
I found the YSL Mombasa bag a few years ago for $100 and it’s 5x in price since, so not only is it my everyday carry, it’s an investment in the financial sense, too ;) And I can’t forget about my Tecovas - I love my Annie boots in Midnight.
Instead of sharing my own music playlist this month, I thought it would be fun to make one together! If you want to join in, I’d love if you added some songs to our collaborative Spotify playlist via this link :)
